Bucharest, the capital of Romania, is the country’s largest city and cultural, economic, and political hub. Known as the “Little Paris” of Eastern Europe during the early 20th century, Bucharest boasts a blend of historical charm and modern vibrancy. The city features a mix of neoclassical, Bauhaus, and communist-era architecture, alongside modern skyscrapers. Highlights include the monumental Palace of the Parliament, one of the largest administrative buildings in the world, the historic Lipscani district, and tranquil Herastrau Park.
