Istituto Comprensivo Lucatelli is located in the east side of Tolentino, a city of about 20.000 inhabitants. Our school includes three separate buildings to accommodate pupils aged from three to thirteen.
At the main office, where there are the Headteacher and the School Secretary, we can find primary and secondary school pupils.
The institute has about 1000 students and more than three hundred attend secondary school.
There are several multimedia classrooms, laboratories dedicated to the various subjects, two external gyms and a green space around the school.
The institute has its institutional website and also a Facebook profile.
Performing arts at school
The Istituto Comprensivo Lucatelli does not have drama or theatre activities in the curricular form but in the past years and on several occasions theatrical courses were organized for specific competitions.
Among the peculiarities of these performances, the multiculturalism and inclusion of the participants can be highlighted.
This school year, the only full-time first class is organizing a theatre show with an external expert, as a part of another project.
Why PERFECT?
The PERFECT project started from the Istituto Comprensivo Lucatelli thanks to the initiative of three teachers.
Thanks to this project, the school, teachers and students have had the opportunity to interact with different realities, to exchange opinions and ways and therefore to enrich themselves culturally.
The first users of these exchanges are the teachers who transmit their experiences and knowledge to the students.
The school, the teachers and the students bring their identity and make their experience and culture available to the others.
The students involved
In this planning phase, the Istituto Comprensivo Lucatelli has involved the first classes of secondary school with pupils who are eleven years old.
The pupils will participate in the afternoon to lessons aimed at the performance.

A teacher working on the project
It was interesting to work on the plot of the performance because it was a moment of aggregation among the teachers and of study.
