The city of Graz with its approximately 303.000 inhabitants is Austria’s second largest city. The famous historic city center of Graz is a UNESCO cultural heritage site as you can find a lot of old buildings even dating back to the Middle Ages here. Those who want to enjoy a good view of the inner city’s unrivaled red roofs should take a stroll up to Schlossberg, a small mountain in the middle of the city with the Uhrturm (clocktower) which provides visitors with an incredible view of major buildings such as the Opera House and wonderful churches like for example Grazer Dom or Herz-Jesu-Kirche.
