Malta

As already mentioned before, since the work was done by a national school of visual and performing arts, there was not one city that can be described. In fact, the students got to know better Valletta, where one can find fort St Elmo. They also  explored St Elmo and its surroundings which is at the tip of the city of Valletta at the entrance of the Grand Harbour. Furthermore, the students also explored and discovered Vittoriosa (Birgu) where Fort St Angelo stands, and Fort St Angelo where the knights settled during the Great Siege. All this was possible because we found the backing of Heritage Malta an NGO taking care of the sites mentioned. Heritage Malta is always happy to open its doors for students to get to love historic Malta and offered all the help possible to help students understand better the history of the chosen character. In fact, it was Heritage Malta that provided the school with historians to inform students about Toni Bajada, and the way that Malta was during his time. Heritage Malta did its best to help students get the feel and emotions which were later translated into the performance.
