Organisation, Team building and Inclusion – National College “Saint Sava”

In order to bring to life the story of Queen Maria of Romania, we have asked for the help of a professional director. He has worked with us for hours on end, writing and rewriting the scenario, searching for the right soundtrack and listening to our suggestions and ideas. He did everything he could to make sure the play would be nothing short of incredible. Every rehearsal we would start by playing a few games, as to lighten the atmosphere and bring a smile to our faces. Each such activity required sharing a few things about ourselves, to get to know each other, as to be able to work as a team on stage and also create friendships. No arguments happened because everyone learned to listen to one another and communicate with respect and consideration, only with good intentions in mind. Even the rehearsal in itself was like a team building experience – we did not only do our part, but paid attention to the others and worked with them to enhance the credibility of our acting. For we have become more than a team, a family, our play brought justice to the story of Queen Maria, a powerful and respected figure in both Romania and England’s history.
