Research and Design of the Art Work – National College “Saint Sava”
Designing the artwork for a theater play about Queen Maria was a rewarding process that combined historical research, artistic exploration and teamwork.
In the process we wanted to understand Queen Maria’s life, her significance, and her influence. She played a vital role during World War I, not only in humanitarian efforts but also in the political landscape of Romania.
We also wanted to understand the historical context. This included studying the period of World War I and the political and social changes in Romania. We took the information from books, articles and academic articles.
The pictures and portraits of her had an important role. The artistic representations of Queen Maria provided insights into how she was perceived and portrayed during her time. With the research complete, we began conceptualizing the artwork. The primary goal was to create a play that captured Queen Maria’s essence while appealing to modern audiences.
