The Target Competences and Learning Approach – Istituto d’Istruzione Superiore “F. Filelfo”
The work involved the development of competencies in cultural awareness and expression and the development of personal, social and learning-to-learn skills.
The approach to learning was through continuous inquiry to strengthen strategies for knowledge acquisition, personal expression, peer interaction, self-evaluation and self-correction. The work attempted to break down the concept of prejudice and criticism and tried to broaden inclusion. All pupils participated and made a personal and global contribution to the study, work, creation and final performance, so that they all had a subjective and objective role. The types of learning used were continuously developed and supported, they are: Discovery Learning, Observational Learning, Creative Learning, Repetitive Learning and Receptive Learning. For the purposes of artistic production, observing and listening to oneself and others are the activities that allow all learning to be refined and extended.
